A heavy-duty aluminum louvered pergola built for Canadian weather. Rotating louvers take you from open sky to full shelter in seconds, and when they close, hidden gutters drain rainwater down through the posts. Integrated LED lighting in the frame keeps the space usable long after sunset.

Built from 4mm extruded aluminum with a bonded powder-coat finish, it handles snow load, wind, and temperature swings from -40°C to +50°C without warping, rusting, or needing refinishing. How I’m most impressed with the after sales service. Had a minor issue with a screen and a technician was on site within 24 hours. I recently ordered an additional screen. The screen was fabricated, delivered and installed within a week. Highly recommended!!

We went with a custom pergola which included screens and a storage area.

And we could not be happier with our new Lousol pergola. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional — and it's the people who made it that way. Brian brought it all together. From our first showroom visit, he clearly explained and demonstrated why Lousol's product is superior in quality, and he genuinely took the time to understand what we needed. I called him regularly throughout the process and he was always responsive, shepherding us through every step. He also incorporated a door into the design of our storage area, which was the detail that sold us — we could have gone with a cheaper storage shed, but the aesthetic was worth it, and that door made all the difference. And even after everything was done, Brian came back himself to install the doorknob and seal the door. No fee, no incentive — just because that's what good customer service is about. Chris and his team were amazing — kind, respectful, salt-of-the-earth people who reflect so well on the company. And Serge and his team blew us away. At the eleventh hour (literally the morning they were finishing installation), Serge suggested moving the door, and the team executed the design change on the spot. It looks so much better for it, and the fact that Serge cared enough to suggest it speaks volumes. It is not cheap but is worth every penny.

Lousol aluminum pergolas were recommended by our landscaper and deck builder for quality and durability. At first, I was set on the custom all black colours as I wasn’t sure how the kit colours would look. After attending the Home Show in Toronto, I was pleasantly surprised how nice the grey with white louvres looked! Highly recommend checking them out in person- pictures don’t do them justice! Very happy that we went with the kit as it’s the size we wanted already and saved us a few thousand dollars. Also added the LED lights- well worth the cost and produced enough light! I would also recommend having it installed by Lousol. Unless you’re a pro, it’s not an easy job. It took 3 professionals from the company 5 hours to install the kit. Again- probably not something my husband and I would be able to do easily. So something to consider - worth every penny and we also have the peace of mind it’s installed safely and properly.

Lastly, when we went to the Home Show, the sales reps were very nice and helpful. Took the time to talk to us about all options. I was also shown a picture of a tree that fell on their pergola during a storm- the pergola was still standing! Couldn’t believe it! If that’s not durability I don’t know what is. Of course these pergolas aren’t cheap, but they look very modern, beautiful, and are very durable. In my opinion, worth spending extra if you want it to last a long time. Thank you to Vera and the rest of the team!

We recently had Aluminum Pergola install our custom 14 x 21 pergola. We wanted to use our backyard more, but needed some shade from the sun and we still wanted to be outside enjoying any party we hosted, even if it rained.

We absolutely LOVE it and are extremely happy with everything from this company. My only regret is not having done this sooner!

The modern clean look is maintenance free and it just looks beautiful with our home design.

We have had nothing but compliments from all of our family and friends.

We are spending so much more time outside and even in the rain, we are outside eating most of our meals under the cover of the louvres and our seating area is dry. Our dogs love sitting under it just as much.

From the moment we walked in the design centre, the staff were very professional and accommodating with answering all of our questions, and there was no pressure to buy anything. We were so happy with the entire process, from start to finish with this company. We checked out other vendors first, but we are so glad we chose Aluminum Pergola.

Aluminum pergola is the golden standard of service, quality and workmanship. Ross is very patient and answered all of our questions over a period of a few months until we decided that this is the company we want to move forward with. They are a Canadian company, quick lead time and the office is right in Toronto. They always answer their phone or any emails.
The crew that installed the pergola for us was beyond anything I had ever seen. They were extremely organized, meticulous, professional and had so much respect for the space they were using. They covered all grass in my backyard to avoid any damage to my lawn. They wore gloves to avoid fingerprints on the material. They cleaned all their garbage up and made sure I was completely happy with everything before they left. My pergola was installed in the summer of 2023 & it’s still looks fabulous. We absolutely love and are extremely happy with our pergola. It was custom made because we needed a 18’x16’ area covered. Dealing with Aluminum Pergola right for the start was very easy and they were extremely professional. My pergola was scheduled to be installed mid to late summer of 2023 and was ready on time but due to rain it had to be postponed for 2 weeks-obviously beyond their control.
When they came to install the pergola the team was friendly and answered all my questions and I had many. It took 2 days to put the structure up. Once up, they had to take measurements for the louvres in order to ensure they fit precisely which took another 2 weeks. The crew was very professional and meticulously vacuumed the area each time they came.
Once the louvers were installed the Pergola looked beautiful but after the first rainfall I noticed a small drip of water. I contacted Marek, who was part to the installation crew, and he assured me they would fix the issue.
Marek was true to his word and came back at least 6-7 times until they figured out where the leak was and fix it. This did take some time because winter came so we had to wait till spring. Marek kept his word and fixed my issue. Everything has been perfect since.
I have to say Aluminum Pergola’s was expensive but well worth it. We totally enjoy the new patio and the look. We’re able to sit outside when it rains and no more having to cover furniture! Marek is a true gentleman and I am so happy I went with this company. They did everything they could to fix the problem without stressing me out. To me this kind of customer service is rare and I am grateful for all Marek did to make me a very happy customer.

Right from the start, Ross and the team helped guide us through a pergola install for a client over their outdoor kitchen.
Ross was very responsive to all my questions as it was a trickier install with the cantilever overhang.
The install turnaround was so quick and easy and they installed in 1 day!

We had our pergola installed earlier this summer. The quality and engineering of the product is truly outstanding. Our yard has full sun exposure all day long which often makes it hard to enjoy because of the heat. Aluminum Pergola is an Ontario company that custom designs and manufactures high end outdoor pergolas.Yes- they are expensive but they are so well made in Mississauga. Perfect showroom has production factory nearby. Ross, one of the Ukrainian owners is smart, well organized, efficient and a delight to deal with. His install team is always on time, polite, did a perfect install, demo and cleanup and worked on the latest holiday Monday! Canada needs more of these hard working immigrants!
We are so pleased with our new outdoor room. The blinds block the sun and minimize the wild winds here in Meaford! The roof panels close tightly so we dined in the rain our first night. LED dimmable lights set the mood and the mechanical parts are available as manual or battery remote.

How to install a 10' x 12' pergola kit on any solid surface?

Installation of the pergola should be on top of the surface because, on the bottom side of the posts, there is a drainage system to let water drain away.

With a standardized size and design, our 10 by 12 KITS are designed for easy installation and contain pre-cut and pre-drilled parts. While a KIT may not be as customizable as our custom pergolas, they still offer many design advantages.
